We store anonymized usage data. Processing is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable website display).

We do NOT store:

Data Collection on this Website
Own web analytics (privacy-friendly tracking): We use a self-developed, privacy-friendly method for measuring reach on our website. The goal is to understand the use of our website (for example, which articles are read frequently) without creating user profiles.
How it works: We do not use tracking cookies for analytics purposes. When a page is accessed, a cryptographic hash value (a character string) is calculated from your IP address, the browser name used, and a daily changing random value ("salt"). Since the random value is deleted and regenerated every 24 hours, we cannot recognize visitors across different days or recover the original IP address.
Legal basis: Processing is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in anonymized analysis of user behavior to optimize our web offerings and for error correction.
Cookies: Our website uses exclusively technically necessary cookies (session cookies, settings). These are required to ensure basic website functionality (for example, saving your language preference or the status of the data protection notice). The legal basis for these cookies is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR or § 25 Para. 2 TTDSG.

Interactive AI functionalities
On our website we offer interactive functions (for example, AI-supported use case search) that are based on artificial intelligence technologies (Large Language Models).
Processing your input for the interactive use case search: When you use these functions, the text you enter (prompts) is processed by an AI that runs locally in your browser. Your prompts do not leave your device and are not tracked.
Purpose of use: Provision of the response and improvement of response quality.
Note: Please do not enter personal data (such as names, addresses) or confidential business secrets into the chatbot or search mask.
Storage: We store your input anonymously to understand what topics our users are searching for (intent mining) and to improve our offering.
